Pencil Works is a temporary mural in Stapleford, Nottingham, created to enliven a construction site while building works are underway. The design celebrates the everyday lives of local people in a vibrant, colourful way, drawing directly from the community it represents. Kid30 led the artwork, incorporating drawings from a local school and ideas contributed by residents, ensuring the mural resonates with and reflects the neighbourhood’s character.
